Despite being one of the most critical aspects of construction, waterproofing remained unorganised, undervalued, and often misunderstood. Skilled professionals lacked recognition, and customers had no reliable way to identify the right expertise.

To ensure that every WAI member is equipped to deliver reliable, long-lasting, and technically sound waterproofing solutions.
In March 2018, that vision became a reality with the formal establishment of the Waterproofers Association of India (WAI), registered under the Societies Act.

From a single idea in Delhi, WAI has today grown into a pan-India network of committed professionals.
